I've officially been out of school for a week, and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what to do with my time. My days pretty much go like this: clean the house, get ready, do some sort of project, make lunch, and spend the afternoon outside with
Halle and the neighbor kids (my tan has improved in a week). I love spending time with
Halle, but I need to get used to being at home so much. I am used to running around the clock, so taking life easy is quite the adjustment. I know I need to appreciate the time, because once the baby comes, life won't be so simple anymore.
Events of the week:
*Sam got called to be Ward Activities Director, so now we get the opportunity to put together the ward camp out (to be held next weekend)
*Halle is speaking in the third person lately. Sam keeps calling her Karl Malone. Today's comment: "Mom, Halle doesn't want to clean her toy room. Halle thinks that you should do it."
*We got a new computer! I am a total Mac girl, and since we had to turn in my iBook laptop, we decided to get the new iMac. It is totally sweet. I still need to figure out how to do everything on it. And a plus, we got a iPod Touch for free. Now, that is a cool invention.
*We found out that Halle has to get her tonsils taken out. She has been snoring a lot lately, so I took her in to the pediatrician to rule things out, when I found out that she has HUGE tonsils! We meet with the Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor on Friday to figure everything out.
*We find out what we are having next Thursday, so stay tuned!
Now that I see everything that has happened this week, maybe my life isn't so boring after all!
