Part of the 30%

For just a moment, I'm going to stray away from motherhood stories and jump on my soapbox.  Yesterday I watched President Bush's final press conference.  For 50 or so minutes he took questions about why he did this or that and, while he did admit mistakes had been made, he also defended himself and his policies.  While I haven't agreed with everything President Bush has done, I do believe that he made every decision in good faith.  I believe history will prove that he did what was right for our country.
I did not vote for Barack Obama, but I will support him.  I will not do to him what the extreme liberals did to President Bush.  Okay, I'm stepping off my soapbox now.  Heavens knows it's not a popular place to be.

What are blogs for if not to step onto a soapbox every so often! And join in saying good luck Obama for the country's sake.

Didn't you feel bad for him? It was like he was on trial! I would like to add that it's pretty brave to do what you think is right rather than what seems to be the popular opinion.
Good luck Obama...You have a HUGE problem on your hands!

I feel bad for any President because of the media. No matter what the situation is or how great a man is in office the media and the American people will ALWAYS find something wrong. The media loves to focus on people's mistakes and blow them out of proportion and only show one side of the story. So it's no wonder that people always think our president is terrible.
