For the next week, Chase's hand is going to look like this:
This morning when I went to answer the phone, Chase pulled my hair straightener down off of the counter and burnt his hand. He has blisters on his fingers and palm. The poor little guy screamed for like 2 hours straight. Luckily, it didn't burn on any joints, which would have made healing much worse. For the next week, I will be changing bandages, washing out his hand, medicating him and hopefully keep him from ripping his little mitten off. Please let my mommy mishap serve as a reminder to everyone to keep hot things away from little people.

Poor guy! Hope it heals quickly.
Oh no! Poor Chase. That is when you curse their curiosity.
Oh that is NOT fun. Gage burned is hand on a fire place when he was like 8 months old. It was awful. I felt like the worst mom. And then the poor kids just don't understand why you keep messing with their hurt hand. It is so sad!
Your a great mom. Who hasn't had something like this happen. Hope he feels better real soon.
Oh...that's awful! You can never be too careful...and yet still they get into stuff they're not supposed to. That's little boys I guess.
OUch! Poor little guy. My neighbor's 11 mon. old used their fireplace glass as support to stand up and did the same thing. She had to scrub it and wrap it too-- so my support goes to you as you will be the one caring for the sad hand. Good luck-- it will heal soon!
oh no! poor little guy. Hope he gets better soon.
Ohh...poor baby! I think that something similar has happened to everyone. There is just no way to keep an eye on those little ones all the time!!
Oh man poor little guy! Poor mommy too! I know how heartbreaking it is to see your babies in pain!
Oh that sweet little bubba! Hope he is okay now! I've been out of touch with the blogging world lately...I'm excited to catch up on yours!!
