Day of Discovery

I have been wanting to take my kids to the Children's Museum for a while, but for one reason or another, never got around to going.  I finally made time to go, and we had a fantastic time!  We planned to go with Bethany and Audrey, but Audrey got a stomach bug, so they were unable to join us. (Missed you guys!  We'll plan another day out...)  Anyway, the museum was fascinating!  I could see Halle's brain just a workin'!  Chase had a great time, too.  He watched all the kids play, and even got to take his turn at playing in the baby area.  Here's some pictures of our activities:
Chase enjoying the fire in the play house.  (Look at that boy sit up!  What a stud!)

Halle going through the self-checkout at the grocery store.

Chase lounging around.  He's so cute and chunky!

Hal playing dress-up at the performance stage.

Chase enjoying perfect baby sized Legos.

For Halle, no day is complete unless she's soaked by the end of it.  The only difference today was...she didn't get in trouble!

Scaling the rock wall.  She actually got pretty high!

Halle reporting the weather.  She said it will either be rainy or sunny tomorrow.  Way to cover all of your bases, darlin'!

At the end of the day, we enjoyed our free ice cream cone at Ben & Jerry's!

It was a perfect day!  If you haven't been to the children's museum yet, you have to go!  Maybe we'll see you there...I'm going to be a regular!

I've wanted to go again since the first time we went. It is serious the greatest place. You've convinced me that I need to do something about scheduling a day to go!

How cute! I can't believe he is already sitting up, that is great. He is darling and growing so fast. Halle is so cute!

I have been wanting to go too. We haven't been since they moved it. I am going to have to get planning!

We've loved going there too, as long as a school or three doesn't show up, then it is just chaos! Cute pictures

That looks like such a fun day! I wish I could play with water fountains and Legos all the time. :)
